The Second Plenary Meeting of BonVoyage was held in Madrid on 8th and 9th October hosted by Atos.
The Meeting was a working session very dense in terms of consolidation of the work performed so far and kick off the new activities planned for the next upcoming months. First, the assembly directed the effort to finalize the Work Package 2 and specifically the Tasks 2.2 Requirements and Use Cases. With the kickoff of Task 2.3 Interfaces among the system components, the assembly faced also the Standard issues, which will be summarized in the standardization plan foreseen in WP8. As for this latter work package, some important results were also disclosed to the general assembly such as the initial issue of the BonVoyage brochure and Exploitation strategy.
On the second day, two important activities were presented. First of all the initial results of Internames communication system: a very early prototype of the communication system was disclosed to the assembly in order to show how its functionality can be used to set up a global network platform for the sharing of static transit feeds (e.g. GTFS), while providing journey planners with the possibility of fetching feeds on a location base. The WP4 Intelligent Transport Functionality was also kicked off and a strong effort will be deployed in technical management of the working groups for the whole duration of the work package. Next Plenary Meeting will be held in Grenoble in January 2016.
